[edit] Block Template
Hi, you put a block template on this page. What is the block template for? What is the reason for the block? Thanks. YouCanHelp 06:12, 1 April 2006 (UTC)
I've taken care of it, the template is deleted. From Brendenhull.
Thank you. YouCanHelp 14:02, 1 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] World War II
The Template:World War II infobox is under discussion due to your slight editwar with a legitimate contributor. Please do not revert someone's legitimate contribution without providing significant reason for doing so. That's what the edit summary is for - in which you placed 'reverting vandalism,' though this might've just been the default of a rollback button. Please, per wikipedia policy, discuss with the user and with the community before you place your own opinion above those of others. Anyway, I realize that you feel that placing Vichy France on the right might lead to confusion, and the fact that there are swing states in the war might nullify your attempt to separate the war into a simplified list of two major combatants. I've proposed two fixes to the problem at the Template's talk page. Thanks for your time. drumguy8800 - speak? 12:36, 7 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] User:Brendenhull#Users he does not like
Please can you remove the section "Users he does not like" from your userpage, as it could be seen as a personal attack, and certainly a bad etiquette. Cheers, — FireFox • T [14:56, 16 April 2006]
I'll take care of it now.--Brendenhull 16:11, 16 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] WWII
You reverted my edit, which includes a lot of changes besides the box you are worried about. Please put those changes back. Drogo Underburrow 19:25, 16 April 2006 (UTC)
Thank you. Now, please see the WWII talk page for the reasons I disagree with your preferences for infobox. Drogo Underburrow 19:53, 16 April 2006 (UTC)
Hi Brenden. You seem to be doing some odd things, including removing the infobox from World War II and making North Atlantic Treaty Organisation redirect to itself. Please don't do this wothout a good reason. DJ Clayworth 20:05, 19 April 2006 (UTC)
- OK, following the second of those now. DJ Clayworth 20:08, 19 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Single-article infoboxes
Please don't recreate {{World War II infobox}} or {{World War I infobox}} again; they've both been legitimately deleted by WP:TFD, and there's a clear consensus against having templates for a single article that do nothing but call other templates. Kirill Lokshin 22:56, 20 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Custom signature
To change your signature go to my preferences, under the user profile tab, there is a Nickname option, here you can change you signature, just remember to turn on the Raw signature checkbox. If you have more questions you can ask them here, I'll put your talkpage on my watchlist. --Eivindt@c 20:15, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Yayoi move
Hello Brendenhull --
Thanks for your recent help in moving the Yayoi page. However, I was hoping I could get you to move it to Yayoi period rather than Yayoi Period (note the lower-case p), for better consistency across the articles in the Template:History of Japan list -- just about all the others use the lower-case p. I just tried moving it myself after leaving a note to that effect at Talk:Yayoi Period, but found I couldn't. Would you be so kind as to see if you can? Thanks! [edit] Date format, etc
No, it is not incorrect -- here or anywhere else -- to write dates as Day Month Year. Please see Wikipedia:Manual of Style (dates and numbers). You arbitrarily changed them from one perfectly acceptable style to another, leaving the article inconsistent in its use of dates, so I changed them back. If you don't like seeing dates that way, you can change your Special:Preferences. You also (inexplicably) reverted my re-inclusion of the accents on the names of Insulsa and Chávez and the correction of the hideous typos "inforced" and "Portugese". Please do not do so again. [edit] Template:Russia TfD
Hi, I noticed that you wanted to list {{Russia infobox}} for deletion. Just wanted to let you know that adding a notice is not enough; you also need to actually list the template on Wikipedia:Templates for deletion. There is a set of instructions there, but please feel free to let me know if you need help.—Ëzhiki (ërinacëus amurënsis) • (yo?); 22:03, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Nuclear Blast
With all the respect, I can't honestly understand how a photo of a nuclear blast which killed so many people, and disfigured countless others, is one of your favourite photos. Please do illuminate me. MaxCosta 03:28, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
