[edit] Clean-up

Copy-edit : changed the 1st paragraph for clarity and a less 'promotional feel'. Some of this article seems ambiguous : e.g (line 1,para2) was it Seth Riggs who got this guy to see amazing results in his voice or not? I'll get back to this when I have more time. tedthegoldfish

Seth Riggs was his mentor. He was the one who help Brett achieve his range. Antares33712 20:38, 11 July 2006 (UTC)

This is all pulled from promotional material. It's all true, just rather ad-like Antares33712 15:06, 26 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Notability

He is a well-known, well Google-able vocal coach (and for many on Wikipedia, Google is the only test that matters). His client roster includes Keith Urban and Mary Stummond, so I guess.... Antares33712 22:24, 14 July 2006 (UTC)

Comment - while I don't so much doubt his notability (if nothing else, he is one of the rare male whistle register singers) and a famed Nashville vocal coach, I would like to see this article become more than an ad for him however. If that can't happen, then replace the prod with my compliments, but I would like to give this article a real chance. Antares33712 23:51, 14 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Vocal range

I own his program and it says his range is five octaves (and sometimes six? but I won't address that part here), but the article says four. Which is correct? 216.141.226.190 05:23, 16 July 2006 (UTC)

According to his website, its 4, scaling up to a B6. Antares33712 13:49, 17 July 2006 (UTC)

Well, a quick look at his program demonstates that he doesn't seem to have the whistle register capability, managing only a c6 tops when he "shows off". the whistle register stuff on his program recordings sounds overdubbed. It's not him.--I'll bring the food 21:17, 16 July 2006 (UTC)

If he isn't a whistle register singer, I wonder if he is notable enough for this site? Antares33712 13:49, 17 July 2006 (UTC)

Brett Manning may be sued soon do to the fact that he took the work of Seth Riggs, and his method to call his own. He teaches all the things Seth does to free the voice but once that is done he teaches style etc. He is using Seth's method and making it his own. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 64.165.23.9 (talk) 16:43, August 22, 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Somebody's messed the page up...

Somebody spewed nonsense all over the article, calling Brett Manning a groupie etc. Is anybody going to edit those things out? I'm not sure if I can do it myself. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 59.92.27.124 (talk) 07:59, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
