[edit] planned changes Aug 2006

The following changes are planned given no further objection:

  • Removing the Maurice Lindsay quote (unless someone is able to find references)
  • Removing the value of his Wigan contract (again, unless a reference is found)
  • Expand on his Canterbury/Norths career records

Hopefully we can then remove the linkless/unsourced tags.--Alexio 02:39, 7 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Note about above changes

Most of the text of the entry has been pinched verbatum from www.wigan-warriors.com. This is true of almost all the Wigan players on wikipedia. As the webmaster of wigan-warriors.com I don't mind, but would have liked to have been asked for permission and would like an acknolegdement of where the original text has come from if possible.

For the unattributed quotes, they were from 1999 from a local news paper (Wigan Evening Post) which was not online at the time, so no links are possible. The original stories, which I wrote myself using facts from various newspapers are still available in the news archive of Wigan-Warriors.com
