Talk:Bremen (disambiguation)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Is there any reason not to put an redirect from Bremen to Bremen (city)? All other Citys are named after the german city.--TruBlu 10:33, 11 October 2005 (UTC)
- The reason is the somewhat complicated relationship between Bremen (city), Bremen (state), and the several historical entities known as Bremen. The Duchy of Bremen, for example, did not include the city of Bremen itself, which was a free city. I have just fixed more than a hundred incoming links to Bremen and about 15% did not mean Bremen (city). Kusma (討論) 13:34, 11 December 2005 (UTC)
- That means 85% did mean the city, which in my understanding is the most common meaning of the term. I vote that Bremen should be the article on the city, and the disambiguation be moved to Bremen (disambiguation). -Branddobbe 21:15, 14 January 2006 (UTC)
- Agree with Branddobbe. The city is by far the most common use. Chl 14:17, 15 April 2006 (UTC)
- Yepp agree, "Bremen" should directly point to the city. Ewok1 20:47, 3 December 2006
