[edit] Propose deletion
Just so bullshit that I don't know how to re-nominate this article for deletion. It has been nominated in July 2007; the link is here Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Breakin' Dishes. I believe this should be deleted since it was not released as the fifth single from the album. The fifth single is "Take A Bow" per MTV News. Any thoughts? Thank you. --Efe (talk) 13:49, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
I think it should stay. It was a club single and charted on Billboard. Charmed36 (talk) 01:05, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
Remove it, its clearly not going to be the 5th single. Take A Bow is the 5th single. Breakin Dishes is not a official single. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.206.120.215 (talk) 05:10, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
- This is a rare occurance, but I agree with Charmed36. The record was serviced as a dance / club single and was scheduled for release to radio as the fifth single until Take A Bow leaked. --InDeBiz1 (talk) 01:20, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
- Also agree with Charmed36. Technically it was released, albeit on vinyl to club DJs and was a top-five dance hit. Certainly notable and there are plenty of other articles along those lines, i.e. Impressive Instant. - eo (talk) 01:50, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
- Ok, but this needs a content that will establish more its notability. --Efe (talk) 09:44, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
- The fact that it has charted (on the Bulgarian national chart and the Brazilian and U.S. dance charts) means it satisfies WP:MUSIC and thus is notable. 193.111.24.180 (talk) 10:47, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] 8th Single?
- Surely this is the 7th single? (apart from slight variations on release order) it goes:
- Umbrella
- Shut Up and Drive
- Hate that I Love You (Duet with Ne-Yo) or (Spanglish Version - Duet with David Bisbal)
- Don't Stop the Music
- Take a Bow
- If I Never Have to See Your Face (Duet with Maroon 5)
- Breakin' Dishes
- Unless I've missed a song?
- "Disturbia" has an article now claiming that it is the 7th single and referring to "Breakin' Dishes" as the next single. Both claims are speculative in nature, but I believe that is the rationale for the change to "8th single" from "7th single". 193.111.24.180 (talk) 10:48, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
- See also: Rehab (Rihanna song), which makes a similar unsourced claim to being a single. 193.111.24.180 (talk) 10:51, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
