[edit] Since you asked

Just some quick notes. Format your refs so they're not URL only. Disambiguate links that need it (e.g. Aggie). For all practical purposes, "Notable affiliates of Breakaway Ministries" is a trivia section. Its info should be incorporated or deleted and the section removed. I'll read the article and see if there's more. →Wordbuilder 18:02, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

  • Ok. What do you mean by formatting the refs? Do you want them enclosed in a [] so that it appears like this: [1] or is something else meant? The notable affiliates section has been removed and the information added to the article. I also tried to disambiguate links as much as possible, though Aggie slipped past me and I didn't realize it should have linked to Texas A&M University, which was already linked. I removed that link. • This is Reference 2 from the Graham Harrell article: <ref name="Background">{{cite web | url = http://texastech.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/harrell_graham00.html | title = Player Bio: Graham Harrell | accessdate = 2007-05-11 | date = | format = HTML | publisher = Texas Tech Football}}</ref>.[1] It yields:
  1. ^ Player Bio: Graham Harrell (HTML). Texas Tech Football. Retrieved on 2007-05-11.
      • Ah, sorry about that. That's not how I'm used to referencing. I'll fix it soon. Supersonic Dude 16:26, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
        • The method you used isn't forbidden but the method I illustrated is preferred. →Wordbuilder 16:45, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
  • I adjusted the first reference to fit this more complicated syntax, but there are now a spare pair of brackets in the reference. Supersonic Dude 18:46, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
    • You had quotation marks around the URL. FIFY. →Wordbuilder 02:50, 17 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Date links in reference

  • I've been adjusting the references to use the {{Cite web}} template, and I had a question about the access date. Do I link it every time, even though the access date is the same for all the urls? Supersonic Dude 14:34, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
    • Never mind- the template links it automatically. Supersonic Dude 14:42, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
