Bread and Roses (along with Mischief Brew, Defiance Ohio, etc), are one of the more notable folk/punk bands around today. They've put out records on Fistolo (who are responsible for a number of Mischief Brew and some Witch Hunt releases) and have been a fixture in the Boston punk scene for a number of years. One thing I have noticed is that it can be difficult for notable and influential punk bands to meet Wikipedia's "notability standards" which seem to be created with traditional major label recording artists in mind. Recently bands such as Blatz, A//Political and now Bread and Roses have been marked for deletion - all these bands are of high import to punk subculture but it can be a struggle to prove notability via Wiki standards. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nightsoil (talk • contribs) 18:08, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
