The street toponymy derives from Saskatoon early pioneer settlers to boom town.[8] Cameron Crescent connecting Holy Cross High School and Brevoort Park School was named after Murdo Cameron, president of the Saskatchewan Association of Rural Municipalities and Reeve of the rural municipality bounding the City of Saskatoon.[9] Septimus Alfred Clark served on the early Saskatoon town council, as well as designed buildings contructed in Saskatoon in the early 1900s.
