The Bretterkeller is a small waterfall on the Sill River in Austria, with a height of approximately 5 meters. It is located at the bottom of the Paschberg in the city area of Innsbruck.
[edit] Accessibility
The waterfall is very close to the Paschberg motorway, on the right side of the Sill Canyon. Streetcar Line 6 and Line 1 are 7 minutes from the waterfall.
[edit] Dangers
Several people have been nearly killed attempting to go down the waterfall. Although the waterfall is relatively short, there are streams before the fall which whip the water of the Sill until the edge of the mountain. Around the basin there are also several larger sharp rocks.
[edit] Travel routes
From the Bretterkeller, one can wander to Igls, Lans or Mutters through the Sill Canyon where one can still enjoy nearly untouched nature.
