Breton Education Centre, or 'BEC', is a co-ed high school students in Grades 7-12 in New Waterford, Nova Scotia. It is part of the Cape Breton - Victoria Regional School Board.

BEC has a variation of sports in its athletic department. BEC has a junior and senior high basketball team. In senior high, there is teams in the AAA and AA division. In junior high, there is teams in the A and B division. The school also has AAA, AA, A, and B soccer teams. The school has both a senior and junior high rugby team as well. In 2008, there was an addition of a junior high hockey team as well. The Senior High AAA Boys Soccer Team won Provincials in the 2007-2008 season with a record of 13-2.
