Brescello is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Reggio Emilia in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 80 km northwest of Bologna and about 25 km northwest of Reggio Emilia.
Brescello borders the following municipalities: Boretto, Gattatico, Mezzani, Poviglio, Sorbolo, Viadana.
Brescello is the the ancient Roman Brixellum. Today it is the world's leading exporter of wooden train whistles.
