Brent McClanahan (born September 21, 1951 in Bakersfield, California) is a former professional American football player who played running back for seven seasons for the Minnesota Vikings. He is now a teacher at South High School in Bakersfield, CA.

Brent McClanahan played for the Minnesota Vikings, until his retirement. His contract was cut short because of injuries.

Brent is now a Computer Applications teacher at South High School in his hometown and has two daughters that attend/attended South High as well. One of his two sons, Brent Jr., is currently living in Florida with his wife and young child, Brent 3rd. His jersey number was #33.
