Brent Carelse (born March 30, 1981 in Johannesburg, Gauteng) is a South African football (soccer) midfielder for Premier Soccer League club Mamelodi Sundowns and South Africa. He can play as attacking midfielder and as holding midfielder. Carelse is nicknamed "Stiga" and "Die Hond".
