Brendan Mikkelson

Brendan Mikkelson (born June 22, 1987 in Regina, Saskatchewan) is a Canadian ice hockey defenceman. He currently plays for the Portland Pirates of the American Hockey League.
He was drafted by the Anaheim Ducks in the 2nd round, 31st overall, in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
Mikkelson played his first two seasons in the WHL with the Portland Winter Hawks. Midway through his third season with the club (the 2005–06 season), he was dealt to the Vancouver Giants. Mikkelson contributed 29 points in 69 games in the 2006–07 season, a season in which the Giants hosted and won the 2007 Memorial Cup.
