Brendan McGill (born March 22, 1981 in Dublin), is an Irish footballer who is currently without a club after being released by financially troubled side Gretna

McGill started his career at Sunderland where he played one game for the club, a 2-1 victory at Luton Town in the League Cup. He then signed for Carlisle United in 2002 and in 2006, signed for Gretna. On the 19th of May, 2008 McGill was part of the remaining 40 staff members who were released by Gretna.[1]
