Brendan "Benny" Coulter is a Gaelic football player with County Down and his club Mayobridge. He won an Ulster Minor Championship Medal in 1999, and later that year won the All-Ireland Minor Football Championship with Down. He has been selected to represent Ireland in the International Rules series four times, in 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006. He is the current captain of the Down Senior Gaelic football Team and is regarded one of the best attackers in Present-day Football,[citation needed] and his county's star, despite only being in his early twenties.
