Brendan Canning (b. 1969) is a founding member of Broken Social Scene and a veteran indie rock performer who has been a member of various notable bands including By Divine Right, Blurtonia, Valley of the Giants, hHead and Len. He is of Irish descent. He is currently working on a new solo album, which will be the next release in the "Broken Social Scene Presents" series. It is to be fittingly titled "Something For All Of Us". The first single from his solo album is titled "Hit The Wall" and was released on May 5, 2008. It is available as a free download on the Arts & Crafts website.
