Brenda Venus

Brenda Venus (b. 10 November, Biloxi, Mississippi) is an American actress, author, ballet dancer, director, and producer.

As a very young woman, Brenda Venus met the famed Henry Miller. He was the father of the SEXUAL REVOLUTION. He became her mentor, and she his muse, his inspiration. Out of this relationship inspired the book DEAR, DEAR BRENDA: The Love Letters of Henry Miller to Brenda Venus (ISBN 0-688-02816-0), a collection of over 4,000 pages of letters Henry had written to her. This represents Miller’s last significant body of work comparable to "Tropic of Cancer."

Her next book turned to the subject of seduction in which she grabs men by the hand and shows them the secret places and yearnings of a woman in the book HOW TO BE THE BEST LOVER YOUR WOMAN EVER HAD. It was translated into over 27 languages and became an international best seller. After the success of the men’s book, she wrote a sequel entitled SECRETS OF SEDUCTION FOR WOMEN.

Aside from being Henry Miller’s last “love goddess”, and best selling author, Brenda Venus is also an actress, ballet dancer, director and producer who has her fingers on the pulse of the world of sensuality. In the interim, she freelances for magazines such as Cosmopolitan, Details, etc., and has written 3 new books and 2 screenplays.
