Bregenz (district)

The Bezirk Bregenz is an administrative district (Bezirk) in Vorarlberg, Austria. It comprises the Bregenzerwald region, the Leiblach valley, and the Austrian part of Lake Constance.
Area of the district is 863.33 km², population is 122,886 (2003), and population density 142 persons per km². Administrative center of the district is Bregenz.
