[edit] History

Breather Resist formed in 2002 and first recorded for Initial Records, releasing tracks on several of their compilation discs. In 2003, the group released its first full-length, Only in the Morning, on Deathwish, Inc.. Their second album, Charmer, was issued on Jade Tree Records in October 2004, having been produced by Kurt Ballou. In December 2005, lead singer Steve Sidoni left the group; guitarist Evan Patterson assumed the job of lead vocals, but the group found its sound changing significantly, and the remaining members regrouped under the name Young Widows in the summer of 2006.[1]
