Breathe is the first single of Fabolous' album "Real Talk". Having the feel of the New York's five boroughs at its core and named to exhale the old music,[1] "Breathe" was eventually released as an official single and reached #10 on the Billboard Hot 100. The music has a big sound, especially due to the piano samples from Supertramp's "Crime of the Century". The single acquired remixes; one featuring 50 Cent and Mase; another with Noztra. The music video features cameos by The Game and DJ Clue.
Pitchforkmedia.com named "Breathe" the number nine song of the year for 2004, stating "'Breathe' sounds like the track Fab was always meant to rap over".
Bay Area rappers Yukmouth and Gonzoe recorded a "Breathe" video using the instrumental track to diss Compton-based rapper The Game.
