Breakout is an upcoming second studio album by the American teen pop singer Miley Cyrus. It will be released on Hollywood Records on July 2008.

Singles

  • The album's first single, "7 Things", debuted on Radio Disney May 12, 2008 a full day before the Top 40 debut on the Elvis Duran and the Morning Zoo radio show.[2]

Performances

The album's title track, "Breakout", and another song from the album, "Fly on the Wall", were first sung at the 2008 Disney Channel Games in early May 2008. These two songs, along with "7 Things", were also performed at Z100's Zootopia concert on May 17, 2008.[3] Also, "Fly on the Wall" and "Breakout" were performed at KISS FM's Wango Tango 2008. "Breakout" the title track, was originally recorded by Katy Perry for her album "One Of The Boys", but her label decided not to include it, and it was givent to Miley.
