[edit] Username block
You are encouraged to create a new account and contribute to Wikipedia under an appropriate username. Our username policy provides guidance on selecting your username.
Alternately, you may request a change in username if you want to keep the contributions from this account. To do so, please follow these directions:
- Add {{unblock-un|your new username here}} below. This is possible because even when you are blocked, you can still edit your own talk page.
- At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked.
- You will have 24 hours after the unblock to file a request before you may be re-blocked. Please note, you may only request a name that is not already in use; do not create the new account then request a name change. For more information, please visit Wikipedia:Changing username.
In many cases (especially if your account has few or no edits), it is much easier to create a new account. You may also edit Wikipedia without creating an account. Due to Wikipedia's mechanism for enforcing name changes, your IP address may be temporarily blocked. Unless you have also been engaging in vandalism or impersonation of another user, we will remove that block as soon as possible.
If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below or emailing the administrator who blocked you.Daniel Case (talk) 02:42, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
Bravogolfhotel, I'm sorry you got blocked. The block seems to be completely unfounded, and I'm talking to people to reverse it. rspeer / ɹəədsɹ 17:06, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
I have unblocked this account after discussions with rspeer and others. Daniel Case (talk) 18:56, 14 December 2007 (UTC)
