[edit] Categories

Hi there, and welcome to Wikipedia. I see you have recently been adding categories to several articles pertaining to them being in the United States History category. This is good, but just one thing. The category information is traditionally added to the bottom of the article on Wikipedia. On most of those pages if you scroll to the bottom of the article once you are editing, usually around the External Links section, you will see in the code where the other categories are. When possible the category should be added in here or at the very end of the article in edit mode. Other than that keep up the good work. Ben W Bell talk 15:50, 2 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] United States History category

Oh please note that your category that you created "United States History" is unfortunately not an appropriate category to create as there is already a category that covers this information. Please see the category Category:History of the United States. Please place the articles into this category instead of creating a new category outside the current category structure. Many thanks.
