From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
For what it is worth, <pre> ... </pre> are HTML tags for marking a section of preformatted text that the browser is supposed to display exactly as written.
On Wikipedia, you can also get a similar effect without using HTML on individual lines by beginning the line with a space character.

There is also a very easy way to sign your comments: just enter 3 or 4 ~ characters after it. -- RTC 01:00 Dec 17, 2002 (UTC)
You got it! The User Talk pages are here for exactly that... "user talk" :-) -- RTC 01:11 Dec 17, 2002 (UTC)
P.S. I added the dividing line by inserting "----" on a line by itself. It is a good way to break up subjects.
Hello there Brandon, welcome to the 'pedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If you need pointers on how we title pages visit Wikipedia:Naming conventions or how to format them visit our manual of style. If you have any other questions about the project then check out Wikipedia:Help or add a question to the Village pump. BTW, nice work in the computing section. Cheers! --maveric149
