Welcome to Wikipedia! Your contribution of the article on your grandfather is appreciated, however, it is optimal to provide additional sources of references. Mr. DeWitt is notable in his fields and many second and third-party sources on him were easily found, so I took the liberty of editing the article to have a more encyclopedic tone and follow the structure of a biography article used on Wikipedia.
