[edit] Help me moved from article space to user talk
{{helpme}}
Hi I need help regarding a picture. Can you help me out?--Brad M. (talk) 17:43, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
- Yes I can. Could you post more details regarding your problem either here or on my talk page? --omtay38 18:58, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, cross-wiki linking of images is not permitted with Wikipedia software. To add the image to the article, it would first have to be uploaded to the english wikipedia (following all instructions there). Alternately, if the images is completely copyright and ownership free, the image may be uploaded to the Wikimedia Commons. If there is any other way I can help, please don't hesitate to ask. --omtay38 19:13, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
Okay, the image I want is in wikipedia commons. How do I go about uploading itÉ--Brad M. (talk) 19:45, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
- Once you find the image, you can place it in the article following the instructions laid out at the Picture tutorial. If you need specific help, please include a link to the image and the article you want it placed in and i'll be happy to help! --omtay38 19:53, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] List of mosques
I suggest you first try to discuss at Talk:List of mosques and possibly notify at User talk:Arab League. Grouping Arab countries does seem somewhat odd to me but I don't know whether it's done in other articles or has been discussed somewhere. PrimeHunter (talk) 22:11, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
- Your account has never been blocked. You edited the help desk and my talk page correctly. List of mosques and Talk:List of mosques are not protected so anybody should be able to edit them. Do you see edit links on them? What happens when you click the links? Does it make a difference whether you click "edit this page" at top or "edit" to the right of a section?
