Hello, and welcome to my pokey little page. Come back sometime! I might have turned into something interesting by then.

I'm the Associate Dean for General Education at a proprietary university in Atlanta, GA. I currently teach composition and literature, but spend more time on administrative work. I've studied at Oglethorpe University, University of Edinburgh, and University of Virginia. My degrees are in English, but I also have certifications and substantial industry and academic experience in Information Technology. At intervals, I am also a freelance editor.

My interests and areas of -- hmm, "expertise" is not quite the right word -- "things I care about enough to read and write a lot about" include writing, literature, popular culture, computers, blogs, computers games, MUDs and MUCKs, gardening, Magic: The Gathering, and various bon vivant interests including Martinis, whisky, cigars, pipes, and cooking.

So far, the pages I watch and contribute to include Martini cocktail, MUF, and Poetry analysis.
