[edit] Primary topic
Hey guys, let's try not to edit war over the primary topic status of this page. Can we try to explain why we think/don't think that Bravo! is the primary topic? I have my own opinion per MoS:DP, but I'm interested to hear the disputing points first. -- Natalya 16:43, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
- This page is at the base name; if Bravo! were the primary topic, this would be Bravo! (disambiguation). -- JHunterJ (talk) 16:49, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
- (after ec) Well, I think it is pretty obvious. I don't think there is anything in the MOSDAB that can support Bravo! being the primary topic for this dab page. The section describing how to format links to primary topics clearly states When a page has "(disambiguation)" in the title... This page does not have "(disambiguation)" in the title and hence there is no primary topic. older ≠ wiser 16:53, 18 May 2008 (UTC)

- My point is much the same as I am making on the mos:dab talk page ... Punctuation variants are quite legitimate items for inclusion on dab pages, each punctuation variant has equal status with the other (including the 'bald' variant). Thus, when we come to look at mos:dab#Linking to a primary topic we must take equal notice of each punctuation variant ... thus Bravo! is just as significant as Bravo would be if it existed ... thus it is the primary topic.
