[edit] Braunschweig class not the first corvette class in the German Navy since age of sail

The sentence "This will be the first class of ships in the German Navy since the age of sail classified as corvettes." is simply not true. Until 1884 there had been two types of steam-corvettes in the German Navy: Gedeckte Korvette and Glattdeckkorvette. Since 1884 the term Kreuzerkorvette was used for steam-corvettes in the German Navy. Blinder Seher 19:20, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
