Talk:Brael

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Brael is a small band yes, but they do have commercially available releases. Brael's music has been played on BBC Radio 1. One of their albums was Boomkat's Album of the Week. If Benoit Pioulard can have a page, so can Brael.

Do you have sources for any of the above? —C.Fred (talk) 04:19, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Hangon tag

I've tagged the article because, above, is an assertion of notability (BBC airplay). If there's a reliable source to back that up, and if it does meet the WP:BAND threshold, then the article asserts notability and cannot be speedily deleted. I'll be leaving a talk message on the OE's talk page, making sure he knows we need a source. I'll also have a look myself. —C.Fred (talk) 04:25, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

I'm not deleting this because it does (very weakly) assert notability. It doesn't establish notability, but it does claim it. I want to point out that simply being played on a major radio network does not satisfy the WP:BAND criteria; it needs to have been in rotation, which is quite another thing. As it stands, this will not likely stand up at AFD. Kafziel Complaint Department 07:58, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
