[edit] Advert

I have applied the 'advert' template, because the page currently reads like an advert.

The introductory section is all right, though 'hundreds of' is hardly encyclopaedic in tone. But the 'History' section is almost entirely puff: it gives no dates, names no important indivduals, and in fact contains hardly any history. Sections on organisation, funding, and buildings would be appropriate. ColinFine 22:59, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Rewrite

I've re-written parts of the article to sound less like it was written by the college marketing department. The whole article still needs a lot of work, especially the history section which is lacking references and is a glorified list of bullet points.

In the interests of full transparency, I work for the university next door which technically competes with the college, but I've tried to be fair when writing the article. Please edit it if you think it shows bias. NRTurner (talk) 16:29, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
