Brave Belt

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Brave Belt was a Canadian rock band from Winnipeg, Manitoba, consisting of Randy Bachman, his former Guess Who bandmate, Chad Allan, his brother Rob and C.F. "Fred" Turner. They released two albums for Reprise Records in the early 1970s titled "Brave Belt 1" and "Brave Belt 2." The band made the Canadian top 40 with the minor hit "Crazy Arms, Crazy Eyes", which peaked at #35 in November of 1971. However, the band missed the US charts completely.

When Allan left the band in 1971, Brave Belt essentially reformed as Bachman-Turner Overdrive, with Fred Turner & the Bachman brothers, Randy, Robbie & Tim.
