Bravanese language

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Bravanese language (also called Chimwiini, ChiMwini, Mwiini, or Mwini) is spoken by the Bravanese people, who are the traditional inhabitants of Barawa, or Brava, in Somalia. Bravanese is a dialect of Swahili. Quite a few Bravanese also speak Somali because it offers educational and employment opportunities outside of Brava.
