Braunschweig Airport

Braunschweig Airport is an airport in Braunschweig, Germany (IATA: BWE, ICAO: N/A).
The Flughafen Braunschweig-Wolfsburg [EDVE] is near Braunschweig between Osnabrück and Magdeburg on the line Amsterdam-Berlin. Its runway is short [1680 m] and narrow [30 m]. Braunschweig-Wolfsburg is used for unscheduled traffic with business-jets as well as by the Deutsche Forschungs-Anstalt für Luft- und Raumfahrt [DLR] with their special mission aero planes to discover phenomena in the atmosphere.
