Braunschweig-Stöckheim-Leiferde is a rural district in the South of Braunschweig, Germany. The population of 8,139 (2005) live in mostly family-houses.

The cantor and teacher Louis Lueders invented in the peso Leif earth core drilling machine, which made it possible to the beet seeds without the help of the children in the ground. The reason for this invention was the high number of pupils who are not in school were able to come because they had to help the farm. As one of the oldest fire brigades (est. in 1866) of the former country Brunswick, the local fire brigade Stöckheim takes care of the fire safety in the neighborhood. The so-called "Youth Department" was established in 1966.
