Brandt's Bat (Myotis brandtii) is a species of vesper bat in the Vespertilionidae family. It can be found in the following countries: Albania, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Mongolia, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Russian Federation, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, and the United Kingdom.

It is named for the German zoologist Johann Friedrich von Brandt.

The frequencies used by this bat species for echolocation lie between 32-103 kHz, have most energy at 51 kHz and have an average duration of 4.2 ms. [1][2]
