Brandon Lee (porn star)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Brandon Lee (b. March 18, 1979), born Jon Enriquez, is a gay Asian American pornographic actor. He took his "screen name" from Brandon Lee, the deceased son of martial arts actor Bruce Lee. Brandon Lee, however, is of Chinese-Filipino descent. Lee also performed under the name Sean Martinez early in his career.
Lee appeared in pornographic movies exclusively as a top, until 2005.

[edit] Adult film career
He was introduced to the porn industry by porn movie director Chi Chi LaRue who met him at a Los Angeles gay bath house. LaRue introduced him to Catalina Video who signed him to a contract. Brandon was only 18 when he got into the business. His debut video was Asian Persuasion. Although LaRue didn't make any films with Brandon at first, LaRue eventually directed him in Fortune Nookie.
Brandon Lee made seven videos for Catalina Video in 1997 and 1998, and then dropped out of the adult business, going into the military.
After leaving the military, he returned in, Wicked, released in 2005, Lee takes the bottom role for the first time on video. He lives in Long Beach, California.
[edit] Personal life
He lived for a time in Miami, Florida where he worked in a hotel, later enlisting in the United States Navy. After serving a tour of duty in Iraq, he left the Navy and returned to porn in 2005.
An analysis of Lee's work and his place in the gay porn industry, written by Nguyen Tan Hoang, appears in a book called Porn Studies (Linda Williams, Duke University Press). The essay is entitled "The Resurrection of Brandon Lee: The Making of a Gay Asian-American Porn Star". This essay debunks the myth that he left his parents’ Chinese food delivery store to pursue a career in the industry. According to this apocryphal story, he was discovered delivering food and the director asked to "see his egg roll".
Lee also writes musical scores for porn movies.
[edit] Assault
On September 9, 2006, Brandon was assaulted in Scottsdale, AZ while on his way home from work. He was returning home from performing on stage in Nearly Naked Theatre's production of the play Take Me Out, in which he played the role of Japanese pitcher Takeshi Kawabata. After stopping at a nearby restaurant, he was followed by a vehicle out of the parking lot. Lee eventually drove off the shoulder of the road, where he was dragged out of his 2006 Toyota Tacoma. He was beaten unconscious, his vehicle set ablaze, and awoke on a paramedic gurney. He was then taken to Scottsdale Memorial hospital, where no internal injuries or broken bones were found. He was released the following morning, and there were no leads on the four suspects. [1]
