Brandon Barnes

Brandon Barnes is an American musician and producer from Denver, Colorado. He is best known as the drummer for the hardcore punk band Rise Against. Brandon began studying music in college and quickly discovered this was what he wanted to do with his life. He attended Evergreen High School, in Evergreen, Colorado, where he played in his school's jazz band and also took private lessons. Through the years, he developed his own unique drumming style, compiled by the influence of his drumming heroes, including Neil Peart, Terry Bozzio, and Dave Lombardo.
He is also a vegetarian, an animal rights advocate and actively promotes PETA with his band. [1]

While touring in the United States, he uses Pro-Mark drumsticks, Tama drums, Evans heads, and cymbals from both Sabian and Zildjian.
