Brandenburg University of Technology

The Technical University of Cottbus (German: Brandenburgische Technische Universität - BTU Cottbus) was founded in 1991 as the only technical university in the Land Brandenburg, Germany. Located in Cottbus, in English it is often called Brandenburg Technical University or TU Cottbus. The university has 122 professors, about 300 scientists and almost 5,000 students. More than 20% of them are of foreign origin (as of December 2006/January 2007[1]).
