Braintree Freeport railway station is a railway station serving the town of Braintree in Essex. The station is the located on the Braintree Branch Line 71 km (44 miles) north east of Liverpool Street. Freeport is a shopping centre on the outskirts of Braintree with its own station and there is a free bus-link into the centre of Braintree.
The station is served and operated by the National Express East Anglia railway operating company. All services are operated by Class 321 electrical multiple units. Most services operate between Braintree Freeport and London Liverpool Street, joining the Great Eastern Main Line at Witham railway station.
The ticket machine is almost always Out of Service, and has gained a bit of a reputation with staff of connected stations such as Witham and Chelmsford.

There is generally an hourly daily hourly service northbound to Braintree and southbound to Witham and beyond to London Liverpool Street.
