Brain fog

Brain fog or mental clouding is a general sensation of unusually poor mental function, associated with confusion, forgetfulness and detachment. While brain fog is not a medical term, a number of medical or psychiatric conditions can cause such symptoms, including:
- Coeliac Disease commonly known as Celiac's Disease in the US.
- Cancer chemotherapy ("chemo brain"): See Post-chemotherapy cognitive impairment
- Fibromyalgia
- Schizophrenia
- Major depression
- Hypothyroidism
