Brain Drain is a fictional character in the Marvel Universe.
Brain Drain was a Nazi scientist. He was responsible for the creation of Master Man.
Werner Schmidt was caught in the blast of what appeared to be a crashing meteorite. In reality, this was the spaceship of four alien adventurers, also called the "Star-Gods", who reconstructed Werner's body into a robotic form. Brain Drain's brain waves were significantly heightened and he was able to mesmerize the Star-Gods, giving them the names Donar, Loga, Froh, and Brunnhilde. He sent the Star-Gods to battle the Invaders, and used Brunnhilde to lure Captain America back with her. The Star-Gods battled Brain Drain and destroyed themselves and the Nazi installation.
Along with Lady Lotus, Master Man, Skyshark, U-Man, and Warrior Woman, Brain Drain formed the Super-Axis.[1] They fought and defeated the Liberty Legion. The Watcher sent the Thing back in time to 1942 to aid the Liberty Legion in stopping the Nazi villains. Brain Drain was able to escape using a small jetpack built into the base of the tank that contained his brain.
