Brad Turvey was a Filipino actor and video jockey of Channel [V] International. He with his twin brother Greg Turvey was born in Hong Kong (then a British territory), People’s Republic of China to a late Scottish Australian father and a Chinese Filipino mother who grew up in Australia. He and Greg grew up in Australia. Both he and Greg settled Philippines in 2001 to try their lucks. He was the first to become famous, first in the Penshoppe commercial with the U.S. diva Ms. Mandy Moore. That advertisement will never forget him by singing the lines of chorus of Mandy Moore’s song Cry said as: In places no one will find. From that, he was discovered by Philippine T.V. station GMA Network as a contract actor: on that station, he was taken as a T.V. host of Sunday noontime show SOP and one of the original members of Nuts Entertainment with his twin brother. While hosting in SOP, he auditioned in Channel [V] as a video jockey and TV host and he was luckily hired. He also became a contract actor of Regal Films, but hasn’t offered any movie. He went back to Australia to accompany his mother and his twin brother who first went back to Australia.
