Brad Lavigne
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Brad Lavigne is the director of research and communications for the federal New Democratic Party caucus in Canada. Prior to September 2006, Lavigne was the director of communications for the federal party, having started the job before the 2003 federal NDP leadership race. He was also national chairperson of the Canadian Federation of Students.
In his new position he replaced Jamey Heath, who left to write a book on environmental politics.
On January 11, 2006, Liberal strategist Susan Murray famously shouted "That's bull****!" at Lavigne on live television after he commented that the Liberals were running on 12 years of broken promises.
He appears regularly on CTV's Mike Duffy Live, and is a regular columnist in The Hill Times.
