Brad Hirschfield

Rabbi Brad Hirschfield is the President of the National Jewish Center for Learning and Leadership, an interdenominational leadership training institute, think tank, and resource center for the Jewish community. He received his B.A. from the University of Chicago, and his M.A. and M.Phil from the Jewish Theological Seminary. He is an ordained Orthodox rabbi.

As president of a national organization, he is a frequent spokeman on Jewish topics. He is co-host of the popular weekly radio show, Hirschfield and Kula, which airs on KXL in Portland, Oregon, and is syndicated with National Public Radio. Hirschfield is the author of numerous works, most recently they include Remember For Life: Holocaust Survivors' Stories of Faith and Hope (Jewish Publication Society) and You Don't Have To Be Wrong For Me To Be Right: Finding Faith Without Fanaticism (Harmony). He is featured on a weekly interfaith television series Building Bridges: Abrahamic Perspectives on the World Today, which began airing on American Muslim TV in 2006-2007, and is now in its second season. The series, reaching more than 2 million viewers, addresses the divisiveness amongst the traditions.
