Michael Bradley Eggerton (born November 27, 1988) is an American filmmaker from Burleson, TX. He is best known for direction in the award winning short film "Owl Creek Bridge (short film adaption)"[1], which is based on Ambrose Bierce's classic short story "An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge". Eggerton also was a successful football player in high school, and played one year of college football at Nicholls State University [2] before transferring to the University of North Texas to pursue a degree in Film. Eggerton played for Burleson High School, and made the Academic All-State team. [3]

Eggerton co-owns his own production company called "Black Cleo Productions", with friends Mitch McCutchen, Russell Irby, and Cameron Smith. [4]

He also produced a 36 minute short film titled "Dear Eli", which premiered at local events and churches.

He is currently working on a thriller about a Texas serial killer called The Fifth, which is slated for release in early 2009. Eggerton wrote the original screenplay, and will also direct. [5]
