[edit] Name's origin

Does anyone know where the lake's name comes from? I suspect it might be named after Étienne Brûlé (although he never explored this part of Canada), and not simply the French word for "burnt", but I haven't been able to find out. Kelisi (talk) 04:43, 13 April 2008 (UTC)
