BPI Energy Holdings Inc. (AMEX: BPG) is an independent energy company based in Solon, Ohio, U.S.A. The company is engaged in the exploration, production and commercial sale of coalbed methane (CBM) in the Illinois Basin, covering over 60,000 square miles (160,000 km²) in Illinois, southwestern Indiana and northwestern Kentucky. The company has initiated gas sales from its Southern Illinois Basin Project and controls a dominant CBM land position in the Illinois Basin.

James G. Azlein is the company's president and CEO.
