So you don't think that the GoldCard is being pushed too much? and that there isn't enough focus on the "service" element? Yes I do work in a head office function.
For the Younger store associates, like 16-17 then probably yes. But not for the others. Genuinely, it is a good card to have and offers benefits that outweigh the M&S or Debenhams cards.
With regards to the service element - it is good but not the best. Part of me wants to write a letter to Tony Brown and explain something called the Mary Gober method of Customer Service - something like that. There is literature that I have that explains it. It would be really good if we as a company could impliment that - not that I see that happening of course, but it would drastically improve our Customer Service to the customers leaving them with a more plesant shopping experience.
